中四學生參加香港中文大學「數學英才精進課程」

本校三位中四學生於暑假17/7-30/7期間到香港中文大學參加「數學英才精進課程」。主題是「近世代數初探 Towards Modern Algebra」，任教導師是香港中文大學李俊捷博士。課程介紹近代數論的知識，提升學生的抽象數學推理能力，藉此打好數理基礎。同學兩個星期於香港中文大學的學習生活獲益良多。

學生感想 (5E Tam Tze Ching)

In this summer holiday, two of my classmates and I signed up for the mathematics course of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This study trip at The Chinese University of Hong Kong has benefited us a lot. We learned a lot about mathematics and it helped us to improve our senses about numbers. The professors and the tutors gave us interesting lessons and having lessons in the lecture theatres gave me a glimpse of the university life. At the beginning, apart from not adapting to an unfamiliar environment, I couldn't keep up with the pace of the class and it made me feel nervous and confuse. But with the help of teachers and classmates, I finally overcame the burdens. In addition, I also met many new friends who love mathematics through this course. Through mutual discussions, learning and helping one another, everyone has gained a precious friendship and benefited a lot.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the school and teachers for giving us this opportunity to optimize our deep thinking while studying at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. I hope that there will be more chances to broaden our learning horizons in the future
